The typical bill for an emergency room visit is in the thousands of dollars. However, many ER cases are not emergencies and can be treated easily at an urgent care center.
When you go to a Riverview Health Emergency Room & Urgent Care location, you won’t have to guess what kind of care you need. We will evaluate you and decide whether you should receive emergency or urgent care treatment. This means that your level of care is determined based on your health needs and you’re only billed for the treatment you get.
