ER and Urgent Care Wait Times

Patients with more serious conditions are treated first, so wait times may vary. The times shown reflect the average patient experience over the past 90 days and are updated monthly.

ER Door to Door

From the moment you walk in the door, our combined ER and urgent care is designed to cut down on your time with us. Because an ER-trained doctor assesses every patient, we make sure you get the quality care you want, need and deserve to get back on track to better health in a timely way.

At Riverview Health Emergency Room & Urgent Care, you’ll move as quickly and safely as possible into either urgent care or emergency care. If you have a non-life-threatening condition, you won’t wait behind true emergencies. And patients dealing with life-threatening illnesses or injuries will be seen faster.

About our Wait Times

Wait times can change depending on patient volume and care needs. The averages displayed here represent the typical time patients spend at our Baymeadows, Lane, and New Kings locations—from check-in through treatment and discharge—based on data from the past 90 days.

Other Ways Our Locations Save Wait Times

The ER is less crowded

Many people go to the ER even though they have urgent health problems that aren’t life-threatening. With combined locations like ours, we treat people on the urgent care side and the ER doesn’t deal with as many blocks in patient flow. Services can go more smoothly and wait times are shorter in both areas.

There are cost and time savings

If you don’t need the ER, you won’t have to spend unneeded time in the ER (and you’ll avoid the expense, too). Less severe health issues can lead to lower costs for services and a faster release.

Convenient Locations for Emergencies and Urgent Care
